Foot Orthoses / Insoles

As part of your treatment plan foot orthoses (insoles) may be recommended.  These are devices that go within the shoe with the aim of modifying the load or forces which may be contributing to your problem.  This may be something we suggest using as a short term intervention to allow an injured structure to heal or they may be required as a more of a long term solution depending on the specific problem.

We offer a range of orthoses solutions from prefabricated orthoses (which are pre-formed or pre made insoles)  through to fully custom made orthoses.

We would encourage you to discuss with your podiatrist the pro’s and con’s of each type to help make a decision about what is best for you.
